I Love A Man

I love a man. Why is this wrong? Isn’t love for everyone? Why is my emotional happiness subject to rules? I love a man and he loves me back. Its deep, comforting and secure. Why should this be secret? Let the world see the trust and care we have. Let us be an example of what it is to be in love and to love without condition; not bound to societal rules. Is love subject to gender identity and/or sexuality? Society accepts love between fathers and sons; brothers. Religion teaches to love God the Father and Jesus his son. To show any love towards a male who is not of a familial bond or a brother of religion is wrong. By these rules, unconditional love cannot exist. I cannot love a man.
